Portion sizes are estimates and may vary depending on how generously you choose to serve and on your guests’ appetites. While this guideline has worked well for us on many occasions, actual portions can differ. Based on our experience, 1.5 kg of roast beef is a comfortable serving for a group of 8, even though 1 kg can be portioned into 10 servings of about 100 grams each.
